Her show takes listeners on a wild ride through the colliding worlds of politics, the news media, and Hollywood. Her legal, political, writing, and television background distinguishes Laura in the field of increasingly homogeneous radio syndication. Phil Hendrie

Monday - Friday 1AM to 5AM

The Phil Hendrie Show tackles issues and breaking news of the day utilizing voice characterizations and fictional characters to provide perspective. Creative genius chock full of character, comedy and commentary — that's Phil Hendrie. Hendrie is famous for concocting a cast of fictional characters who are at times controversial, all of whom he plays on air while simultaneously serving as host of the national talk radio program. Hendrie often poses as both caller and guest on the show as they argue in a lively and entertaining fashion.

Hendrie got his start in radio as a disc jockey where he spent 15 years working at stations across the country, before he realized he hated what he was doing. In 1990 Hendrie moved to Los Angeles, debuting in talk radio as a weekend talk show host. Hendrie introduced his first fictional character on air — an Iraqi, Raj Feenan. The Gulf War was happening and Feenan vociferously defended Saddam Hussein. Thinking he was a real person, listeners went ballistic and the phones lit up. An entire cast of characters have evolved from that moment on, marking Hendrie's place in radio history.
